Procedure for a digital impression:<\/p>\n

  1. Initial consultation and planning<\/li>\n
  2. After preparing your teeth, we create an optical scan of your jaw.<\/li>\n
  3. The computer immediately creates a realistic 3D model of your teeth.<\/li>\n
  4. We design your ceramic crown(s)<\/a>, ceramic inlay(s)<\/a> with a special computer program.<\/li>\n
  5. Fabrication of the restoration in our practice, or in more complex cases in our neighboring dental laboratory.<\/li>\n
  6. Insertion of the ceramic restorations a few days later. In certain cases, the ceramic restorations can even be inserted on the same day, a few hours later.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Through the collaboration in our practice with Dr. Verena Widhalm<\/a>, it is possible to correct mild to moderate misalignments of the teeth with transparent aligners. The “scan” of your teeth is used for the digital planning.<\/p>\n

    Likewise, the digital scan in combination with a 3D X-ray<\/a> is helpful in order to place dental implants<\/a> precisely.<\/p>\n
