Oral surgery

The following oral surgical procedures are performed in our practice:

After tooth loss, dental implants (titanium screws) allow for a fixed dental prosthesis again.

We routinely place dental implants in our practice, which are planned in advance using digital volume tomography.

Tooth extraction results in a more or less pronounced bone loss.
However, this can be rebuilt to give a dental implant a secure hold.
For example, a so-called sinus lift enables a fixed dental prosthesis in the upper posterior region.

Using DVT (digital volume tomography), it can be determined in advance in our practice whether bone augmentation is necessary.

Due to lack of space in the jaw, it is often necessary to remove wisdom teeth.

Performed under local anesthesia, wisdom tooth extraction, which is primarily indicated for pain, is a short procedure.

The apicoectomy is a promising option to save a tooth inflamed at the root tip. We fix the problem “at the root”. Often, however, this operation can be avoided by a revision of a root canal treatment. We would be happy to advise you.
