Aesthetic fillings for front and posterior teeth
Modern filling materials are indistinguishable or barely distinguishable from natural teeth, and unlike amalgam fillings, they do not contain any heavy metals (mercury).
This material is called “Composit” / “Composite,” and is also referred to as “plastic fillings”.
This refers to a high-tech composite material that is enriched with ceramic particles.
The advantage of composite is that it is modeled and hardened directly in the mouth. In addition, the material is color-matched to your tooth color, if necessary also in several layers. Furthermore, it is possible to work minimally invasively, which means without removing much tooth substance.
With good oral hygiene, these fillings can have a very long lifespan.
To achieve the greatest possible biological compatibility, we use composite with Ormocer technology. This is “inert”, meaning it is highly biocompatible. In contrast to conventional composite fillings, no toxic substances (monomers) can be released. The risk of allergies is thus significantly minimized – with simultaneously increased resistance / longevity.
