Wisdom Tooth Extraction
What is the process for wisdom tooth extraction at our clinic?
- 1st Visit: X-rays are taken; in complex cases, a CBCT scan (3D X-ray) is taken. The extraction is planned, and the procedure is discussed with you.
- OP Appointment: The wisdom tooth extraction is performed under local anesthesia. Two wisdom teeth (top/bottom) can be removed per side. Pick-up by an accompanying person is pleasant and recommended for some patients.
- The days after the surgery: Take the prescribed medication. Cool the region, and follow our tips regarding dental cleaning, sports, and eating/drinking.
- After 1 week: Check-up appointment with us, suture removal. The healing progress is assessed, and further behavioral tips are given if necessary.
