Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Due to lack of space in the jaw, it is often necessary to remove wisdom teeth.

Performed under local anesthesia, wisdom tooth extraction, which is primarily indicated for pain, is a short procedure.

1st Visit: X-rays are taken; in complex cases, a CBCT scan (3D X-ray) is taken. The extraction is planned, and the procedure is discussed with you.
OP Appointment: The wisdom tooth extraction is performed under local anesthesia. Two wisdom teeth (top/bottom) can be removed per side. Pick-up by an accompanying person is pleasant and recommended for some patients.
The days after the surgery: Take the prescribed medication. Cool the region, and follow our tips regarding dental cleaning, sports, and eating/drinking.
After 1 week: Check-up appointment with us, suture removal. The healing progress is assessed, and further behavioral tips are given if necessary.
