Implant planning using 3D X-ray (CBCT)

A digital volume tomograph (CBCT) now enables us to perform precise and safe computer-assisted planning of dental implants. Furthermore, complaints and inflammatory processes can be clarified if conventional X-rays are insufficient.
The technique is similar to computed tomography (CT), with the advantages of lower radiation exposure, shorter recording time (approx. 30 seconds) and more accurate representation (more information here).
