Teeth, mouth, and jaw are part of the human skeleton and are in constant interaction with many other areas of the body. We take these connections into account in your diagnosis and therapy. We also use complementary procedures for this purpose.
- Heavy metal detoxification after amalgam removal / amalgam restoration
- Applied Kinesiology AK (collaboration with internist / cardiologist Dr. Martina Winkler, see homepage) e.g. for root-canal treated teeth
- Bite splint / Temporomandibular joint relief splint
- Metal-free restorations (ceramic inlays, –crowns, ceramic implants)
In particular, the kinesiological testing of root-canal treated teeth is helpful in discovering so-called “silent inflammations.” The diagnosis is then confirmed using our cone-beam computed tomography (3D X-ray). We often replace these teeth afterwards with ceramic implants or titanium implants.
Patients are often plagued by general medical conditions for years without these problem areas in the mouth being recognized earlier.
The collaboration of different medical fields is important to us in any case. If necessary, we can also recommend doctors and therapists from other specialties. In particular, we work with an internist and cardiologist with complementary medical training.
Dr. med. dent. Lukas Rudolf
