Patient case: complete restoration with ceramic crowns

The patient came to our office with the wish for an esthetic improvement of her front teeth. Since braces to correct the position of the teeth were not possible, a restoration with 6 crowns was planned (so-called “smile makeover”).

At a follow-up appointment, the teeth were prepared under local anesthesia for the ceramic crowns and digital impressions were taken. Furthermore, photos were taken for the digital design of the teeth (so-called digital smile design).

The 6 all-ceramic crowns were then designed in three dimensions and fabricated in our dental laboratory.

Already on the following day a trial of the crowns could take place and since no change was necessary, these could be inserted permanently.
